PROJECT OVERVIEW

Your English speaking guide will pick you up at your accommodation anywhere in Ljubljana city, its wider suburb or on the way from Ljubljana to Piran (primorska region). On the way he explains general things about our country Slovenia, describes landscape, our habits, national characteristic and answers all your questions! Drive from Ljubljana to Piran takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Piran is a coastal town in the south-western Slovenia. It lies at the very end of Piran peninsula, surrounded by Adriatic sea. It is often named also the town of worlds most famous violinist Tartini. Once important port, Piran has preserved medieval basis until now days. Due to the deep rooted tradition of salt panning that merges with countless stories of the narrow town streets, we can easily claim, that this town has grown on salt. Explore its medieval core with the Tartini’s square, stone flag poles, Tartini’s statue, Church of st. Peter, Church of st. George, Venetian house, Apollonio (zaccaria) house, Punta the system of narrow streets where one can easily get lost and many other things that are just waiting for you to be revealed and to tell their secret stories. In 2 hours city walk we`ll discover them all.

After the city tour you can eat lunch in one of the local restaurants or if weather allows, take a swim on one of many beaches!

DURATION: 7 hours from and to your accommodation, of those 2 hours city tour and 2 hour for lunch break or/and swimming
