Bohinj and Bled
Visit Bohinj and Bled, two Slovenian lakes, often described as Alpine twin brothers, natural gems and most visited destinations in Slovenia. The landscape of the lake Bohinj is all about pure nature. Did you know, that the gondola can take you to the Vogel mountain above the lake? From there opens unforgetable view to whole chain of Juian Alps, Karavanke Alps and of course Bohinj lake. If the weather allows we behold Triglav, the highest Slovenian mountain too. We visit the church of holy John the Baptist and learn about local characteristics such as: shingled roofs, alpine dairy farming and the beginnings of iron works. Next, take a walk to waterfall Savica and spoil your taste buds in the local inn. Afterwards explore the landscape of the lake Bled and Bled Castle from where opens a stunnig view of the lake and its landscape. In short, trip to Bohinj and Bled is all about man, nature and tradition.
